Paper Girls – Alex Smith

This post is also available in: Spanish

I haven’t read something this good in a long time. Not only because of the plot, but also because of what the protagonist’s family life entails, without a wife. When he takes the youngest daughter to the police station for the meeting, you get an idea of how everything is going to unfold. He refers to the poor girl as “the Kraken”. The thing is, it’s pretty stressful.

Well, the plot is great, the development too and, also, it has a sense of humor that made me laugh out loud. And not just because of the Kraken.

I already read all the others (the only one in Spanish, for now, is this one) and you may like it more or less, but the sense of humor is always present, the good plot too, and I’m waiting for the next one that will come out on April 1st this year 2022.

I love them. Let’s see if they translate more.
