Hagan juego – Antonio Manzini

It’s a very good novel. Like all the others in the series.

Schiavone’s character is fabulous: ironic, brusque, blunt, a good person, a beast… he has it all. And everything is so well balanced that you can’t help but like him instantly.

Actually, all the characters are quite peculiar. This mix makes for some situations to look like scenes from something surreal that makes you laugh. Watch out! This is what I like most about them. I put the novels in this series at the level of Camilleri, Sophie Hénaff or Fred Vargas. They’re worth it.

The plots are fine, not extremely complicated or gruesome, as it seems to be the fashion, and flow smoothly.

Very entertaining and highly recommended.
