Grito en el hielo – Camilla Ceder

Overall, it entertained me, but it’s nothing to write home about. I think there are a few pointless pages, focused mainly on unnecessary descriptions, thoughts of the protagonists, that don’t contribute anything to the story, and their personal lives. For example, one of the policemen who’s going to interview a witness, while waiting, remembers that he has to buy hinges, or something like that, to fix a door, because he’s been leaving it for a long time and his wife keeps insisting him… This goes on for three pages. And so with many other things like that.

On the other hand, there’s not much suspense since by the middle of the book the reader (not the police) already knows or can guess the motive for the murders and more or less who commits them.
