The first one I’ve read by Hallie Ephron and her first one as a solo author. It’s simple, one of those I say they’re to kill some time or one that reminds me of Mary Higgins Clark’s. It’s entertaining, the plot well carried out and it maintains a lot of suspense; though, halfway through more or less, one can imagine the whole story and its ending.
