Cuando el lago se hiela – Elizabeth Edmondson

It’s considered a romantic novel, but that’s not the way I’d define it. It’s actually the story of a family with a heavy immediate past and nothing romantic. The grandma is a hag, a harpy; you feel like burning her on the stick, of course, alive.

The plot is fine and the suspense is enough for you to get hooked and read in one sitting, though, if you have some imagination, you can guess everything from quite early on. Very well set.
