The Silver Road – Stina Jackson review
Boring.
It’s not a thriller, nor a detective story. Or, at least, that’s my impression.
It’s just a story about two solitary people. One obsessed by her daughter’s disappearance. The other one takes care of her mother and didn’t have a childhood. Almost at the end of the story, they meet each other and establish a father-daughter relationship, though it’s a bit weak.
The suspense is absent and we just know towards the end who has been kidnapping girls, two of whom are saved when he’s arrested.
Actually, from a certain point onwards, I just started to do a quick reading of it, because it didn’t really spark my interest.
